I smoked for over a decade. At first, it was just during breaks at work or with friends on weekends. But like a lot of people, it became a habit I couldn’t shake. I had tried quitting more than once. Patches didn’t help. Gum was too strong. Cold turkey didn’t last more than a week. Then someone I knew mentioned NVee.

They weren’t trying to convince me of anything. They just said it helped them feel less stuck in the cycle. I didn’t expect much when I placed the order. I just figured I’d try a different approach.

Picking my first NVee device

I went with one of the simpler NVee vape kits. I didn’t want something complicated. Charging it was easy. Filling it with NVee e-liquid took less than a minute. I didn’t have to deal with buttons or menus. That mattered to me. I wasn’t looking for a hobby. I just wanted something that could replace the feeling of lighting a cigarette.

The first time I used it, I felt the nicotine hit almost right away. It was smoother than smoking, but the hand-to-mouth motion was familiar. That made it easier to not think about cigarettes. I didn’t feel like I was giving something up. I felt like I was replacing it with a version that didn’t come with the same smell or the same guilt.

What changed in the first two weeks

There were small things I noticed right away:

  • My clothes didn’t smell like smoke

  • I didn’t have to wash my hands every time I vaped

  • I stopped stepping outside to smoke in bad weather

  • Food started to taste different

None of these things were dramatic on their own. But together, they made a difference. I started to enjoy small routines more, like having coffee in the morning or walking to the store without feeling like I needed to light up first.

I still craved a cigarette sometimes, especially during stressful moments. But the NVee Plus kit helped with that. It felt close enough to smoking that I didn’t feel like I was missing out.

What stayed the same

I didn’t switch to vaping and suddenly feel like a new person. I still had to deal with the urge to use nicotine. I still had to remind myself not to slip back into old habits. But having a device that worked, that didn’t leak, that didn’t smell, gave me more control. And using something like NVee didn’t draw attention the way smoking often did.

I also liked knowing what was in the NVee e-liquids. The labels were clear. I could choose the nicotine strength. I could switch flavors if I got bored. That’s not something you can do with a pack of cigarettes.

What vaping with NVee looks like now

It’s been a few months since I switched. I keep my NVee device with me during the day. I use it when I need it, not out of habit. I don’t think about it all the time the way I did with cigarettes. I’ve lowered the nicotine level once. I might do it again.

My mornings don’t start with coughing anymore. I don’t feel the need to plan my day around smoke breaks. I spend less money, and I don’t feel like I’m hiding something when I’m with people who don’t smoke.

Switching from cigarettes to NVee didn’t change everything overnight. But it changed the things that mattered. I feel better. I smell better. I don’t light up out of routine. And that’s enough for me to keep going.
